Penacook School Karate has many upcoming events for our students and school families. Refer to this page to find out about upcoming promotion testing, birthdays, school functions and other school related information.

We will also be posting news bulletins or other pertinent information regarding the school, its students, its instructors, or the Master. The calendar will also list these items as well. Make sure you print out the school calendar each month for easy reference.

EVENTS FOR 2008

SEPTEMBER

Labor Day - School Closed 9/1/08 (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
The school will be closed in observance of Labor Day

Grandmaster George Dillman Seminar - 09/13/07 (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
Come and train with one of the Martial Arts Living Legends! Cost is $55 before August 10th, $65 after August 10th and $75 at the door. We will be having a dinner after the seminar at Moritomo's Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar in Concord. Location: Penacook School Karate, 1 Fisher Ave, Boscawen NH. Directions to the Seminar:

From the South: Take I-93 N to Exit 17. Bear right off the exit ramp onto US Rte 4W. Proceed 1.2 miles to the flashing yellow light and turn left towards downtown Penacook. Penacook School Karate will be 0.2 miles on the left in the Infinite Health Family Chiropractic Building. Turn left on Fisher Ave and enter the lower parking lot via the second left entrance. Follow the signs to the entrance to Penacook School Karate.

Belt Testing - 09/27/08 (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
See Testing Roster! All students must wear full uniform and have turned in all test paperwork to test. Children's Test will be at 12 noon to 1pm, Adult's will test at 2 - 3pm. Location: Penacook School Karate.

Promotion Graduation Ceremony 09/26/08 (7pm - 8pm) For Graduates from Testing on 9/20/08
All testing students will return to the school in full uniform for official belt ceremony, photos, demos, and refreshments. Please feel free to invite friends and family to help celebrate your new rank advancement! Location: Penacook School Karate

OCTOBER

Promotion Graduation Ceremony 10/03/08 (7pm - 8pm) For Graduates from Testing on 9/27/08
All testing students will return to the school in full uniform for official belt ceremony, photos, demos, and refreshments. Please feel free to invite friends and family to help celebrate your new rank advancement! Location: Penacook School Karate

Kancho Brown Traveling 10/09/08 to 10/13/08 (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Kancho Brown will be teaching at the Muhammad Ali Training Camp in Deer Lake PA.

Columbus Day - School Closed 10/13/08 (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
The school will be closed in observance of Columbus Day

Belt Testing - 10/18/08 (12:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
See Testing Roster! All students must wear full uniform and have turned in all test paperwork to test. Children's Test will be at 12 noon to 1pm, Adult's will test at 2 - 3pm. Location: Penacook School Karate.

Crazy Costume Day 10/29/08
Students should wear their costumes to class, nothing that will rip, get ruined or hurt someone though. We will be giving out prizes for different costume categories!

Halloween - School Closed 10/30/08 (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
The school will be closed for trick or treating!

NOVEMBER

Veterans Day - School Closed 11/11/08 (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
The school will be closed in observance of Veterans Day

Belt Testing & Holiday Party - 12/20/08 (12:00 PM - ?)

Dojo Clean Up Week - 12/14/08 to 12/20/08 (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Christmas Holiday Break - School Closed 12/24/08 to 01/02/09 (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
The school will be closed in observance of Christmas Break and New Years Day.
