Since 2000, Penacook School Karate has been providing instruction in Karate and the martial arts in the Penacook, NH area. We are a proud member of Dillman Karate International, a worldwide authority in pressure point self defense!
Our goal is to develop strong bodies which contributes to health and a general sense of self-confidence and well being. In addition, we aim to develop individuals of the highest moral character who can then make significant contribution to a better life in the family, the work place and society at large.
We develop in each student a non-quitting spirit. No matter what the obstacle or difficulty whether it be emotional, physical or financial, we want students to feel that though they may be set back, they will never be overcome by these problems. We instill the old samuari adage "fall down seven times..get up eight." The sincere practice of Karate can impart this idea into the spirit.
Karate will require a serious and focused attitude towards training, more than the average workout. We care about you and your progress, and will give you the respect and attention you deserve in order for you to gain confidence, discipline and the motivation to pursue your dreams.
At Penacook School Karate, we all train as a family. Cooperation, not competition, is the keyword. True Karate teaches that those of us who have more should share with others, giving guidance and encouragement.
Whether you are three or eighty three, you CAN do it! The
ultimate aim of Karate lies not with winning or losing, but in the
perfection of the character of its participants.
