Omoiyari - "take time to really care about others'

The Omoiyari Foundation is a non-profit branch of Penacook School Karate. Founded in 2008, the Omoiyari Foundation strives to share the mental. physical and spiritual benefits of the martial arts with all walks of life and to raise funds on behalf of community programs.

Our Commitment To Our Community:

The goal of the Omoiyari Foundation will be to provide financial assistance and instruction for students who otherwise could not train in Karate due to physical, developmental or financial needs. In addition the Foundation provides financial support for local community programs, including those benefiting children with illnesses or disabilities, victims of cancer, at-risk teens and the homeless.

The Omoiyari Foundation supports such causes as St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, Invisible Children, Surfrider Foundation, Children International Health Day, Parent/Teacher Group and many others.

Our Example of the True Spirit of Karate:

Through such donations, both financial and organizational, the Omoiyari Foundation strives to share the never - quit spirit of karate with those who are best able to benefit from such training. By sharing the spirit of our Karate and the principles of sincerity and caring, the Omoiyari Foundation helps both our students and members of the public become better people, for only through such sharing can a community and it's people fully realize their human capacity and potential.

Our Programs:

Community Service - we feel that we are a member of a larger community, and as such, we will assist those who are so important and play such a vital role in our community. We will support, in any capacity allowed, our local schools, police, fire and many other important organizations.

Students are required, as part of rank requirements, to volunteer in the community. We wish to be viewed as a community resource.

Special Programs - we offer training for students with all types of illness and disabilities ranging learning, behavioral and mental.

The Omoiyari Foundation needs your help! The Omoiyari Foundation is entirely funded by contributions from our students, their families and friends and corporate sponsors. Without their help we can't help others!
