Rules To Being A Happy Person - Monday Motivation

July 10, 2017

1.  Put yourself first.

Loving yourself and putting yourself first might seem selfish. When you take care of yourself, you harness the power of showing up fully for others. If you sacrifice your needs in order to help others, you're only showing up as half of yourself.

2.  Understand impermanence.

Feeling at peace with life is recognizing that everything has a time and place. Relationships, jobs and experiences are all part of a bigger plan. Happy life is a balancing act between holding on and letting go. Be comfortable releasing things that no longer serve you.

3. Be unapologetic about desires.

Happy people make their dreams come true and focus on their goals with fearlessness. Believe in dreams. Live life to the beat of your own drum and will follow your heart. Life is short - not following through is premature death.

4. Don’t worry about money.

The more you give, the more you get in return. Stop giving, expecting anything in return. Learn to develop a healthy relationship with money and learn it is connected to self-worth. The more value  you give yourself, the more money you will attract. Instead of worrying about money, take steps to make more money and create more flow. This happens when you do what you love daily, creating a rich, deep connection to life.

5. It is NOT a popularity contest.

Stop caring what others say or think about you. The only thing that matters is that you like yourself. This self-confident, infectious energy often attracts a lot of people. Happy people often have good friends. If you let others give you value, they can also take it away

6. Learn to take rejection...and not personally.
Don’t take rejection personally.  Trust that something better is on its way.

7. See everyone as equal.
Don’t judge, condemn or point out flaws in others. Forget about proving others wrong or always being right.
